Kevin Barbieri earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and went on to attend Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

In the summer of 2010, he worked for the Honorable Rita M. Novak in the Cook County Circuit Court, assisting with various procedural and substantive issues including business organizations, landlord/tenant disputes, and administrative review.

While in law school, Kevin worked in the Thomas M. Cooley Law School Estate Planning Clinic, where he assisted low-income residents in Oakland County to provide counsel on their estate planning objectives by drafting Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney. He also performed guardianship reviews on behalf of the Oakland County Probate Court, advising the Court on whether to continue or terminate a guardianship.

After law school, Kevin lived in Florida and previously practiced in traffic court and foreclosure defense, assisting those in Palm Beach and throughout the Treasure Coast. Kevin drafted the appropriate documents to help clients in accomplishing either a short sale or loan modification, and frequently spoke with banks in the process.

Kevin relocated back to Michigan in 2013 where he practiced Plaintiff’s work before joining Landry, Mazzeo & Dembinski in 2014.
